Above is a picture of my treasures! I have been eyeing the Lee's Line furniture for a while now, and had been indecisive about the fabric until I actually saw it. I went for the denim. It was as neutral as I could find, and Rosanna's pillow looks perfect on it!
I also purchased a mini shadowbox frame. My plan is to turn it into a coffee table. I've been inspired by Kim and Mercedes-- they've made some GORGEOUS tables out of frames. I hope mine will measure up. These are some cupcake tins that I found at the show. I'm going to use them as a mold when I make my attempt at creating cupcakes... someday.Isn't this a sweet little teapot? I am going to send it to a friend who, from what I hear, has a blue kitchen. It's going to be a surprise, so I'm not saying who it's for. :) After the mini show we drove through Stockton and stopped at Bearly Big Enough. It's a wonderful mini shop. The shopkeeper, Suzie, keeps everyone in the region inspired with all her wonderful mini's. In fact, her shop is where I found Meg. Some of the absolutely most talented miniaturists I know hang out at the shop. I'm looking forward to telling you all about them on another post someday soon. They are really amazing, and the first mini friends I ever met.
The above photo is of the goodies I bought at the shop. I finally picked out a floor covering and some hardware for my little bathroom. The gold things are dresden borders. I know I'll be able to use them when I shabby up some furniture.
Well, as you can see, I've got some projects in the making... I'm looking forward to being able to show you all some projects soon. I'm still unpacking boxes, so I feel a little guilty putting that aside to work my mini's. I'm starting to get a creative itch again though, so hopefully I can get through these boxes soon!

1. Go to your 4th photo file.
2. Pull up and post your 4th photo in that file.
3. Explain about the photo.
4. Pass the challenge on to 4 other bloggers.
Okay, here is my photo... of course, it's the absolutely most precious photo I've ever seen in one of these challenges. Okay, I know, I'm a little biased when it comes to my Hagrid.
This is Hagrid when he was about 8-10 weeks old. I was visiting him at his bio-mom's home. Talk about instant love... doesn't he look serious?! I was down on my tummy to get this photo. You can tell that his tail is waggin'! I tell ya', there's nothing as cute as a puppy!!!
Now I have to pass this challenge on... I can't remember everyone who has recieved it (and it's a lot of you!) so I'm going to just pass it on to anyone who would like to take on this challenge. Have fun!

My parents and my nephew, Derek, came down this weekend to help me with the house. My dad was a HUGE help with getting all the new door hardware/locks changed out, getting appliances safely hooked up, and fixing sprinklers... just to name a few things. My mom was a HUGE help in helping me unpack and organize; and Derek was a HUGE help in painting my bedroom! Derek's not afraid of high ceilings, thank goodness! This little house has vaulted ceilings, and they're a little daunting to me. What would I do without all of their help?! I really am blessed to have such a supportive family.
I just had to show off my new house key-- it's pink, with a tiara and sequins! (Sorry about the glare, I forgot to turn off the flash.) I've always had a thing for tiaras, as my friends can attest. I realized a few years ago that you don't have to be a beauty queen to own a tiara. When you're in your thirties, you can BUY one-- and a good one at that! When do I wear it, you ask? Whenever I want. :) I've worn it when cleaning the house-- even when cleaning the toilet. You'd be surprised how a tiara can make even the most menial task a little more decadent. Anyway, I highly recommend buying a tiara! (Yes, YOU Marsha-- one with PINK sparkles!)
